English artist Henry Moore was a major force in shaping the sculpture holdings of the Arts Council Collection, acting as an advisor on acquisitions between 1942 and 1960, and is himself strongly represented in the Collection. Eleven powerful, small sculptures and thirteen works on paper by Moore are illustrated in this book, alongside historical material from both the Arts Council Collection and Henry Moore Foundation archives.
