Staniak’s IMG_ paintings use fluorescent pigments and holographic gradients to disrupt our expectation of flatness. His Internet Blueprint series isolates the specific hue of blue that is popular with social media networks, and his DATA paintings use pulverised CDs, DVDs, M-Discs, and silicon wafer cells as their raw material. The book uses high pigment inks and fluorescent white paper to get close to the RGB nature of the works.
